Hand Cane back has been   completed on this circa   1910 Bentwood high chair!   Now we'll begin 2 Hand   Cane the bottom!

Hand Cane bottom has   been completed!  &   delivered 2 a very   happy client at the   center of the universe   n Ashland, Virginia!

* One (1) of six (6) hand   made "Shaker Shawl Back"   chairs' from Charlottes-   ville, Virginia 2 have   "Rush" bottoms' woven n    them by "Country Seat   Weavers'" TM!

* A cleaned up   "Bee Hive" rocker,   & a child's "Acorn   Rocker" 2 do with   2 different types   of weaves'!

* One dumpster diver's   treasure a "Bee Hive"   porch rocker restored   with a "Splint"   "Herringbone" weave!   & he's a very "happy   camper" with the re-   sults!  Now rocker   # 2 2 go!

* What sister wants   sister gets!  Clients'   sister found this   little treasure n the   trash!  Brother, yes   has it restored!

* Another doll chair   for sis!  Important   Note:  The smaller the   chair, the more   difficult they are 2   do!  Client really    happy about restored   chair!  Yes, of course   that makes me extreme-   ly happy too!

At our "The Strip Joint" tm   we "Feed the Wood" b 4 we   restore the wicker!   It's total restoration   which 99% + wicker re-   storers' leave undone!

This is one of two (2)   Wicker chairs which   were transformed by   a coat of black paint   after restoration!

Surprise!  The frames     are particle board for     the removable "Rush"     bottoms' so easy does     it!

Square inside of      4 particle board      frames' before be-      ginning 2 weave      this particular type      of removable "Rush"      bottom chair!

1st we "Rush" the      corners' which      holds the 2nd       step n place 2      cover the front      & rear of frame!

You literally wrap    the front, & back    from side 2 side in-    cluding covering     the "Squared up"    part inside the    seat frame!

Now that it's      "Squared up" you      begin weaving, &      of course "Pad-      ing" as needed!

Here's my absolute      1st "Red" removable      "Rush" bottom, &      the client loves      the "Red" color I      found!      Will do a set of      barstools' n the      4 colors!
