     Machine Cane Chair Preperation 101!
          Machine Cane Wedges!

       * Machine Cane Wedges absolutely must have the sharp edges
removed before using them on a Machine Cane Chair Bottom!

     Machine Cane Groove Preperation 101!

       * The sharp edges on the absolute very top of the inner groove
must be removed without damaging the Machine Cane Groove prior
to your installing the machine cane!
This must be done very precisely!

The tool you use for removing the sharp edges is a radius plane!

* Machine Cane Chair Staining Tip

       * When I get a Machine Cane Chair to do which a Client wants stained I always order an extra 6
inches of Machine Cane so that I can do a "Stain Square" fot the Client, & have the Client sign off
on it!  Color Charts are absolutely no substitute fo a 2" or 3" Stain Square!"  And Client, & I then
are both on the exact same page because we agree on the stain color, & it's on the money!
Just like "Measuring Twice, Cutting Once!"

  MACHINE CANE JIG BOX TM
  IN USE!
  CHAIR CAN BE MOVED FROM
  AREA TO AREA DURING
  SPLINE REMOVAL & THE
  MACHINE CAN INSTALLA-
  TION!

       * The reason for The Machine Cane Jig Box TM is "FORCE...
At the same time surface force resist the downward force with
  equal upward force!"
       * When you remove the Spline out of the groove in the bottom
of a Machine Cane Bottom you are applying a lot of dowmward
  FORCE!
When you install Machine Cane in the bottom of a Machine
Cane Chair you are very gently applying downward FORCE!
When you install the Spline in the Machine Cane Chair Bottom
to hold the Machine Cane in place you are applying much more
  downward FORCE!
You can now completely eliminate downward FORCE when
doing a Machine Cane Chair Bottom by using a Machine Cane Jig
  Box tm!
It almost completely eliminates breaking, splitting the Machine
Cane Chair Groove area, etc. when doing a Machine Cane Chair Bottom!
"Since antiquity, scientist have used the concept of FORCE in
study of stationary, and moving objects!"
